High Mid Winter Advance at Keswick.
We leave Church in the church van at 7:00 pm.
We will return on Sunday around noon.
Everyone who has already been to the MidWinter Advance at
Keswick should know what to bring and what NOT*** to bring. If you need any
clarification, call me.
***We have been reminded by the
Board of Directors at Mid Winter Advance to avoid any loud noises and messy
pranks, specifically, silly string or shaving cream or anything else that makes
a mess. They are serious.
For the rest, here's a list: Your Bible, comfortable and warm casual
clothes. Bathing suit...no speedos, one piece for the girls. No two piece suits
or we make you wear a t-shirt over everything. A big white t-shirt saying
something really stupid! You don't need blankets or sleeping bag or towels.
There are beds and sheets and blankets, etc. Maybe you want your own pillow (if
you're a girl!).; SNACKS, the more the better. and DRINKS...sodas, water, juice.
Gym clothes, for volleyball, basketball, walleyball, etc.
Be prepared for a lot of flack if you use your I-pod or cell phone during
worship services or bible studies or seminars. You don't want it to be
confiscated! Best bet is to leave it home. The latest report is that text
messaging has been a problem when kids should be paying attention. If
confiscated, your phone will be returned before you go home.
Otherwise, bring an open heart and a good attitude and listen for the Holy
Spirit...He's there...you can meet Him...He will Bless you beyond your Wildest
Dreams! No kidding...
